This "Kahlo Jackson" was made on assignment for a personal trade!

Then this oil pastel is "Kahlo Sunrise" for a trade the request for the trade was Micheal Jackson (see above) and a study of Frida Kahlo These paintings "
Frida Kahlo, Moses, 1945,oil on board, 61×75.6cm and her self portrait in particular I drew (and painted) inspiration. The real challenge was not the style, more the use of pastels alone to give off the "Frida" feel. So for the Kahlo Jackson I resorted to multi-media: Pastels, pen and ink, some acrylic, trying to give some continuity to the piece, with so many mediums was the difficulty, how much is too much was the question. Oh an the figure drawing was tough always wanted to take a drawing figures class, I will defiantly work with the figure.
